Nicaea Alpha
Nicaea Alpha is where it will all start again. Isaiah 43 18-19 says "forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. 19 See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland."
The whole idea for a new Nicaea came to me in a dream. My interpretation of the dream was God asking, do you feel you have it all figured out, that there's nothing left to pursue and fight for? Clearly, my answer was no, but everything after that was a mystery.
Since that dream almost two years ago I've never seen more division, confusion, or desperation in believers and non-believers in my life. I don't have the answers, but I believe we can create streams in the wasteland.
